The Women Who Build Summit is a networking event celebrating the success of women in the architecture, construction, and engineering industry. The 2-day conference includes keynote speakers, breakout sessions, panel discussions, and focused workshops. Women and men come together to connect, share, and inspire the innovators of tomorrow.
This year’s conference had a huge focus on women empowerment with the opening keynote: “Be a SPARK! Lead Yourself and Others to Greater Success” by Angie Morgan, Author & Thought Leader. The keynotes and breakout sessions left attendees feeling empowered and supported.
Along with all the powerful messages throughout the conference, Altieri engineer, Angelica Hermanto, PE, said a highlight was the Architectural Tour of an Altieri project! The group had the opportunity to tour Smith College’s Kathleen McCartney Hall, which happens to have a women-led design team. Angelica says she plans to attend again next year, and bring along another Altieri women engineer!
