Dan De Sanctis is a meticulous engineer whose rigorous oversight and technical precision consistently uphold and reinforce Altieri’s highest quality standards.
Dan joined Altieri in 2012. An exemplary mechanical engineer, he continually applies his talent for solving complex engineering challenges for significant theatre and performing arts venues, university buildings, and museums. He is currently leading mechanical engineering and project management efforts for the new Dramatic Arts Building at Yale University, reinforcing Altieri’s reputation for delivering innovative and high-performance cultural and academic spaces.
Dan was project manager and lead mechanical engineer for the Connecticut College Athey Center for Performance and Research at Palmer Auditorium, where he successfully coordinated multidisciplinary teams and maintained demanding production schedules. He is highly skilled in conducting detailed engineering analyses, overseeing contract document production, and managing coordination among trades, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and the highest standards of quality.
