Gansevoort Peninsula is the largest single green space in Hudson River Park. It is a unique waterfront site for community activities and incorporates ecological restoration, habitat enhancements, and shoreline resiliency. The park weaves together passive and active uses, including salt marsh, historic 13th Avenue promenade, multi-use sports field, upland beach, and numerous other park amenities and gardens. This is certainly a well-deserved award!
