Award-Winning Website Highlights Women in Engineering at Altieri

Website Award Highlights Women In Engineering

We are celebrating our award-winning website! The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Boston chapter selected our new website as the gold medal winner!

Our former website was outdated, to say the least. Having the ability to start from scratch, we came up with clear design goals. We wanted a design that created an exciting journey through Altieri’s award-winning history, astonishing portfolio of projects and clients, our culture, team, and the values we work by. We required a big focus of our culture and values to highlight women and their contributions to STEM fields, particularly engineering. Working with Clockwork Design Group, we highlighted our Women in Engineering employee resource group (ERG) and women-designed blog, wom(EN)gineer, on its own dedicated page. This page captures the importance of women in our firm and how we are working to further support women in and outside of the workplace.

What a beautiful and engaging site. Impressive animations and visuals uncommonly seen on the E side of AEC.

Judge’s Comment

One major objective was attracting job applicants – prospective women engineers and interns. With our obvious spotlight on women in the industry, we did just that. We received comments from women during interviews about how they really enjoyed seeing the emphasis we put on women. We are breaking a record this summer with 4 women interns, the most women interns we’ve had in one summer!

“On the website, I saw a big focus on women, which interested me because it strongly aligns with my values.”

Having an award-winning website is a huge accomplishment, especially knowing the Women in Engineering specific page contributed to the nomination. To further celebrate, the majority of the design team from Clockwork Design Group was women, and the Altieri Marketing team is all women. Our website brings more exposure to our efforts to raise up women in the industry with our ERG and our blog. We are so proud of and grateful for everyone who contributed to the success of one of the most important components of our marketing strategy!
