Altieri was awarded The Architect’s Newspaper (AN) Best of Practice 2026 Award in the MEP Engineer category!
Earlier this year, AN called for Best of Practice entries from firms across North America to find those with not only the best design, but also designing a better place to live and work. A panel of jurors analyzed submissions that touched on portfolio, office culture, and social impact.
Altieri’s winning submission highlighted our all-out effort over the past five years to drive change in our people practices. While Making Bold Visions Work™ reflects Altieri’s commitment to delivering innovative engineering solutions for our clients, it also embodies the firm’s dedication to investing meaningfully in our workplace and staff. Our submission focused on our intentions to move the needle on gender equity, spotlighting initiatives that support advocacy of women including WIE (our first employee resource group), outreach efforts to the tune of over 100 volunteer hours spent engaging female students and early-career professionals, the launch of our internal mentorship program, and more. Judges commented that Altieri’s motto of Making Bold Visions Work and its deep support for women in engineering is truly commendable.
