When John L. Altieri passed away, we established a scholarship in his name for Norwalk students to continue his legacy of exceptionalism and community involvement. The scholarship is given annually to a student from Norwalk High School, Brien McMahon High School, or P-Tech who is going on to study mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering at an accredited university, and whose high school career has shown that the individual incorporates elements of our firm’s core values in his/her endeavors.
We are pleased to announce the recipient of the 2024 John L. Altieri Memorial Scholarship is Anthony Gomez, from P-TECH Norwalk. Out of the number of deserving candidates who applied, we chose Anthony based on his ability to manage a challenging workload and significant extracurricular activities. He also exhibited an understanding of the important role collaboration plays in personal and professional success. Anthony will be attending Quinnipiac University to major in Mechanical Engineering. We look forward to watching his progress in college and wish him the best of luck!
